  • Always utilise products that are “Deemed to Satisfy” by BCA and installed in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions.
  • Do not proceed unless it can be ensured that your chosen system will fully comply with the BCA requirements.

What Is the Risk You Are Taking if Utilizing the System Is Not "Deemed to Satisfy"?

Please make sure your utilised system has been tested in the laboratory. Otherwise, the field test certificate for a building cannot be adopted to your building. You may be faced with:

  • Having to confirm compliance after the installation is complete.
  • Not being able to show that the installation is appropriate until after it is completed.

These methods will result in extra costs for site testing and expensive rectification work.
